Three residential homes were destroyed in an overnight fire incident in the Barbarshah neighbourhood of the Srinagar district of central Kashmir, a F&ES Department official said on Sunday.
A report of a fire breaking out at Barbarshah Chowk was received by the authorities at about 3:30 am, according to GNS. “Men and machinery were soon after rushed towards the spot” , according to the official, and “after strenuous efforts, the fire was brought under control.”

According to the official, the event left two homes with significant damage, while another property also sustained some damage to a lesser degree because of the congestion in the region. (GNS)
