The Smart City initiatives used innovative development to transform the city center’s appearance, which is currently drawing a sizable throng.

The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri today called a meeting of Department Officers whose offices or buildings are along the MA road Srinagar in order to further the beautifying of the city and in the first instance.

In order to improve the aesthetics of these facilities, he gave them the order to repaint the external walls, boundary walls, and roofs of the government buildings.

He insisted that little changes like wall paints, standardised board designs, and colour coatings would have a significant impact.

Additionally, he gave instructions on how to operate the water fountains at various places and gave directives on how to put VMDs in Nehru Park and run laser displays.
