Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) opposition group Congress has filed a resolution of no confidence.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked on Thursday, August 10th, that the no-confidence motion is fortunate for the BJP-led Centre since the Opposition, not the NDA, is facing a floor test in Parliament.
The Prime Minister said that “I have also heard the speeches of few of the members” while discussing the no-confidence vote in the Lok Sabha.
Modi remarked, “I am here to show my gratitude to the people of India.” He cited repeated votes for the NDA administration as evidence that the people have faith in them.
The Prime Minister jabbed the Opposition by saying that God is kind and, if he so chooses, would grant people their hearts’ wishes by whatever means necessary.
God apparently had the Opposition come up with the no-trust motion, which he sees as a good thing.
“When the Opposition MPs presented the no confidence motion in 2018, that was God’s will, too. I had also previously said that the floor exam was not being administered by our administration but rather by the opposition.
And when the votes were counted, the same thing occurred. They lost control of the votes they had before because of the increase in the number of ballots. In addition, the public showed their disapproval of the opposition by voting for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the elections. The vote of no confidence has turned out to be a stroke of luck,” Modi stated.
“I can see that you have decided that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA and the BJP will break all previous records with more brute majority,” he said.
