It explained that these weather patterns are basically low-pressure systems that develop over the Mediterranean Sea, travel westward while accumulating moisture, and then dump it over North India.

On Monday, October 9, scattered light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning are probable throughout Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand due to the impending disturbance.

We don’t yet know how long these rains will last, but as next week approaches, the prognosis will become more solid.

A yellow watch was issued for the aforementioned Western Himalayan states on Monday as a result of these forecasts by the IMD’s Regional Meteorological Centre in New Delhi.

Residents are reminded to “be aware” of the shifting weather conditions by this advice.

In the meantime, the higher altitudes were expected to have snowfall from October 9 to 10. This was according to the meteorological agency in Kashmir.

It is also said that between October 11 and 13, there will mostly be dry weather. With the exception of a short period of rain in a few locations, the weather was forecast to be dry starting on the 14th.
