Baramulla, July 23: As part of a rigorous anti-social crime campaign, police in Baramulla have detained four gamblers and confiscated their stake money.

When a police team commanded by SHO PS Baramulla received specific information about gambling operations in Bangla Bagh Baramulla, they stormed the location and detained the four gamblers. They have been identified as Gh Nabi Gojree, Bashir Ahmad Buhroo, Nazir Ahmad Dar, and Abdul Rashid Rather, all of whom live in Azad Gunj.

Officers have taken playing cards and stake money totaling 4,860 from their possession. As a result, a case has been filed at Police Station Baramulla under the appropriate legal provisions, and an investigation has begun.

“People who engage in criminal activity will be dealt with according to the law. Community members are urged to report their local police units about crimes that have occurred in their area, according to the police.
