GK IMPACT: BRO upgrades the Jawahar Nagar road’s damaged drain

In Rajouri, the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has made the required repairs and maintenance to a damaged and obstructed drain on the major road in Lower Jawahar Nagar in the town of Rajouri after taking notice of the Greater Kashmir report.

In its Saturday issue, Greater Kashmir wrote about a broken and obstructed drain that is next to a gas station on the major Panja chowk to Khandli bridge route and is causing problems for travellers.

Taking notice of this news report, Border Roads Organisation repaired the drain as needed and cleaned out the slit that was blocking it.

Local business owners Ravinder Kumar and Faheem Ahmed thanked Greater Kashmir for bringing to light their complaints and making the required changes.
