Srinagar, August 2: Following the retirement of the incharge principle, Dr. Anjum Farhana has been appointed as principle of GMC Anantnag.
A copy of the order appointing Dr. Anjum Farhana, head of the Microbiology department at GMC Srinagar, to the additional role of Principal at GMC Anantnag can be found at the news organisation Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
Following the retirement of Professor Tariq Syed Qureshi as Incharge Principal of the Government Medical College in Anantnag on July 31, 2023 (AN), it has been decreed that Professor Anjum Farhana, Head of the Department of Microbiology at the Government Medical College in Srinagar, shall, effective immediately, assume the responsibilities of Principal of the Government Medical College in Anantnag.
