The success of the G20 Summit, he said, “has similarly highlighted India’s strength in democracy, demography, and diversity.”

Everyone is aware that a number of railway stations have not been upgraded in recent years, the prime minister said.

“Action is being taken to develop these stations. According to the government, Amrit Kaal stations would all be created over the next 25 years. These stations will all be known as Amrit Bharat stations, he added. The nine Vande Bharat Express trains that are being introduced today will greatly enhance connectivity and increase tourism across India.

According to Modi, there are presently 25 Vande Bharat trains operating, and nine more would be added.

“Vande Bharat trains are becoming more well-liked. Over 1,110,000 people have already used them, he said.

The prime minister said that the pace and scope of infrastructure development now underway in the nation perfectly matched the ambitions of 140 crore Indians.

He said that Vande Bharat will soon link the whole nation and that the day was not far off.

Udaipur-Jaipur, Hyderabad-Bengaluru, Vijayawada-Chennai (via Renigunta), Patna-Howrah, Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram, Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Puri, Ranchi-Howrah, and Jamnagar-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express are among the new trains that have been flagged off.

According to government sources, “These Vande Bharat trains would be the fastest along the routes of their operation and would help save the passengers significant time.”
