On Monday morning, security troops defused an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Hanjivera neighbourhood of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, averting a huge disaster.
According to reports, an IED was discovered on the roadway by the police and army early in the morning, prompting the dispatch of a bomb disposal crew to the scene.

According to them, the squad defused the IED without inflicting any harm.
The roadway was shut down shortly after the device was discovered. According to reports, vehicular circulation on the roadway has been resumed.
