Imam Hussain’s (AS) martyrdom is remembered by LG

28th July, Srinagar: Manoj Sinha, the lieutenant governor, commemorated Hazrat Imam Hussain’s (AS) sacrifice on Friday. According to a statement released here by an official spokesman, the LG stated in his message for Youm-e-Ashura that “the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions in Karbala for upholding the values of truth, justice, and equality has been guiding the entire humanity to follow the path of righteousness.” The LG urged everyone to “imbibe the eternal ideals of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) on this day and work cooperatively for the prosperity, progress, and peace of the people.”
