In Baramulla, an army soldier supposedly commits suicide

A police team was sent to the scene, but it took some time to determine the cause of the suicide.

Baramulla, 31 July: In the Baramulla area of north Kashmir, an army soldier reportedly killed himself by shooting himself with his service gun on Monday, according to authorities.

According to Kashmir Scroll, a soldier (name withheld) who was stationed at the Rashtriya Rifles camp in Baramulla close to Guru Nanak High School committed suicide by shooting himself in the head within the unit. They said that while a police team had raced to the scene to gather information, the cause of the suicide was not immediately revealed.
