While being searched, it was discovered that these brick kilns, although having passed the threshold, were not registered with the GST administration, dodging hefty tax obligations. Additionally, it was discovered that the majority of them did not have District Administration licences to operate.

The proprietors of brick kilns were instructed to register with the District Administration and the Goods and Service Tax Department by the Additional Commissioner during the campaign. Additionally, he requested that they submit their returns on time and without hiding real sales.

The Special Search Teams were instructed by the Additional Commissioner to continue their campaign against illicit brick kilns and to pursue legal action against those that aren’t licenced.

The Deputy Commissioner of State Taxes Enforcement for Central Kashmir, Pervaiz Raina, as well as other Department employees, accompanied the Additional Commissioner.
