In J&K’s Doda, a man murders his brother over a land dispute

Srinagar, September 30: In a sad event on Saturday, a special police officer (SPO) murdered his older brother after the two got into a fight over a land dispute in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to accounts, the younger brother, named as Imtiyaz Ahmad, the son of Nazir Ahmad, assaulted his older brother, Ishtiyaq Ahmad, causing significant injuries.

Ishtiyaq was sent right away to SDH Gundwah and then to GMC Doda for medical care, but he passed away from his wounds.

Ishtiyaq Ahmed, who passed away, worked as a teacher, and Imtiyaz is a Special Police Officer.

Two people have been detained so far in the continuing investigation after police became aware of the occurrence.
