In Kupwara, a scooty rider was killed after colliding with a regular car

According to a law enforcement officer, a case has been opened to look into the matter.

Kupwara, August 16: A guy in his forties was killed while riding a scooty when he was allegedly struck by a sumo vehicle in the Bumhama region of the Kupwara district.

According to GNS, a scooty and a Sumo vehicle collided head-on, killing the scooty rider instantly.

The scooty rider was airlifted to SDH Kupwara, where he was pronounced dead by the attending physicians.

A police spokesman confirmed the occurrence and said a case had been opened to look into it.

Mohammad Maqbool Ganaie, from Sever Thandipora, was named as the victim by the official.
