In Poonch, a drug trafficker was wounded and sent to the hospital

Poonch, Sep 24: A suspected drug smuggler was shot today in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district after being seen acting suspiciously near the Line of Control (LoC).

According to sources, the army forces guarding the LoC in the Khari Karmara region shot the smuggler.

The smuggler, identified as Yasir Nazir, a native of Khari Karmara, was hurt and then sent to GMC Rajouri for treatment, according to SHO Poonch Deepak Pathania, who spoke with Greater Kashmir.

He stated that further investigation is being conducted.
