In Rajouri, residents hold a Mashaal protest to denounce terrorism

On September 17th, residents of Rajouri came out for a Mashaal march to protest terrorism and honour the lives of those killed in the recent Anantnag Kokernag and Narla Rajouri encounters.

People from all walks of life, including political leaders, civil society members, social activists, students, and young, participated in this mashaal demonstration arranged by civil society members, which began at the children’s park near Dak Bungalow and ended at the Gujjar Mandi chowk.

They chanted anti-terrorist chants demanding a stop to the phenomenon they saw as the most serious danger to society.

Participants offered floral tributes to members of the military and police and stated the martyrs will be remembered forever in the hearts of all citizens.
