On September 19, Milad Committee Rajouri planned a flag-raising event at the district headquarters in advance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) in collaboration with other religious groups.
This ceremony was held in the Markazi Jamia Masjid in Rajouri town, and participants included Milad Committee officials, a number of religious leaders, social activists, members of civil society, and students from Islamic institutions.
During this ceremony to host the flag, people prayed specifically for peace and harmony.
Speaking during the ceremony, Milad Committee leaders said that Rajouri would host a number of activities leading up to Eid-e- Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), with the major processions taking place on the day of Eid and attracting thousands of participants from all walks of life.
