In spite of the dry weather, Kashmir's lowest temperature falls

Srinagar, December 3: The region’s nighttime temperature decreased on Sunday, with no rainy period predicted for Kashmir until December 10.

Gulmarg and Pahalgam were the coldest places, with respective temperatures of – 3.6 and minus 2.4 degrees Celsius, according to representatives of the local meteorological service who spoke with the news organization Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

Temperatures rose above freezing in a few of locations, including Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir’s summer capital, when a low of 1.4 degrees Celsius was recorded.

The lowest temperature in Kokernag was recorded at 2.6 degrees Celsius, while the mercury in Kupwara settled at 1.2 degrees.

The weatherman predicts that the gloomy, dry conditions will continue until December 10—(KNO)
