According to Kashmir Dot Com, a news outlet located in Srinagar, NIA agents, supported by the local police and the Central Reserve Police Force, conducted a series of raids around the valley on Tuesday.

Investigators from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) went to the home of Zubair Siddiq Dar, son of Mohammad Sadiq Dar, in Srinagar’s Bonpora Batmaloo to interview him.

The Budgam home of Arshid Indrabi, son of Ghulam qadir, was searched by NIA agents. He lives in the Peerbagh Cooperative Colony.

Advocate Parvaiz Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Qadir, had his home in Kanta Bagh Kralpora searched by another squad.

This morning, NIA agents also conducted a search of Saleem Ahmad Malik’s home in Kralpora, Kupwara.

The Kashmir valley as a whole has been the target of raids as well.

The national investigating agency has said that they are looking into allegations that non-governmental organisations (NGOs), trusts, and societies established in the Valley provided financial support for terrorist operations. Some nongovernmental organisations (both legal and illegal ones) have been soliciting donations at home and abroad under the guise of aiding the less fortunate. “However, some of these groups have ties to banned terrorist organisations like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Hizbul Mujahideen,” the agency stated.
