The ISRO director said that the organisation is prepared to carry out Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal.

India is capable of going to the Moon, Mars, and Venus, but we need to have more faith in ourselves. Our goal is for the country as a whole to flourish, which will need additional investment in the space industry. Somanath told reporters in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday night, “We’re prepared to realise the vision that PM Modi gave to us.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed with open arms when he arrived at the ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru earlier on Saturday.

He got to know the experts from the Indian Space Research Organisation who were working on Chandrayaan-3, the nation’s third moon mission.

In addition, PM Modi declared August 23 to be National Space Day to commemorate Chandrayaan-3’s Moon landing. Additionally, he declared that the Chandrayaan-2 lunar landing location would henceforth be known as the “Tiranga” point and the Vikram lander’s landing place on the lunar surface would be known as the “Shiv Shakti” point.

This will serve as motivation for all of India’s efforts. It will serve as a reminder that no failure is ever fatal, said PM Modi.

In his interactions with the ISRO’s female scientists working on the “Chandrayaan-3” project, PM Modi praised them for the crucial part they played in the successful conclusion of India’s first lunar landing mission.

On Wednesday night, India became the first nation to successfully deploy a lander on the unexplored lunar South Pole.
