The Rumi Library IUST held a one-day training session on IEEE-ASPP: Awareness, Access, and Impact on September 21 in Awantipora.
Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. Manzoor Ahmad Malik was in charge of the event. Dean of Research Prof. A. H. Moon, Deans of schools, Heads of Departments, teachers, and scholars were also there.
Ranbir Sedhey, Client Service Manager at IEEE, and Ritesh Kumar, Senior Training Officer at EBSCO, were two of the IEEE experts who gave talks. Ranbir Sedhey gave a very detailed talk about how to publish with IEEE and how to use the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Prof. Manzoor Ahmad Malik praised Dr. Fayaz Ahmad, Librarian at the Rumi Library, for putting together the performance. Dr. Sheikh Sheub, Assistant Librarian at the Rumi Library, was in charge of putting together the event.
