Traffic Plan and Advice for March 9, 2024
In view of the single-lane and poor surface of the road at Dalwas, Mehad-Cafeteria, Panthyal, Nachlana, Gangroo, Hingni, Kishtwari Pather, etc., management has decided that only one-way traffic shall be allowed on Jammu Srinagar NHW (NH-44) till the road gets double-laned.
Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44)
Subject to fair weather and good road conditions, only one-way traffic shall be allowed on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. Tomorrow, LMVs shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu; these vehicles shall be allowed from NAVYUG Tunel (Qazigund side) from 0600 hrs to 1100 hrs. However, HMVs will be managed in a regulated manner.
People are requested to be alert while traveling, be cautious of shooting stones and landslides, and avoid travel if not necessary. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut-off timing.

Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari Road is still blocked due to snow accumulation.
Mughal Road:-

Bhaderwah-Chamba road:-
The Bhaderwah-Chamba road is still blocked due to snow accumulation.
Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag NH-244:
The Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag road is still blocked due to snow accumulation.

People are advised to undertake a journey on NH-44 only after confirming the status of the road from traffic control units as under:
