Jawahar Nagar has roaming stray dogs

On September 29, residents in Srinagar voiced worry over the huge number of stray dogs in the neighbourhood of Jawahar Nagar.

According to a group of locals, stray dogs have made it difficult for people to move about, especially the old and young.

The locals said that they had frequently requested that the Srinagar Municipal Corporation officials deal with the rising problem of stray dogs in their area.

The villagers pleaded with Commissioner SMC, “We make a sincere appeal to you to instruct the concerned to control this problem in the neighbourhood.
