He said that the J&K Police worked nonstop to provide the populace a tranquil atmosphere.

To achieve a J&K free of terror, Singh added, “We must continue our efforts in a mission mindset.

He said that the J&K Police, together with other security forces, were on high alert and cooperating to stop terrorism in J&K.

The DGP commended the SHO Chasana, the Incharge Police Post Tuli, and their personnel for their quick action and awareness in locating the nearby terrorist.

He said that people anticipated this kind of behaviour from a skilled force like the J&K Police at all levels.

According to Singh, the government’s reaction to intelligence about the movement of terrorists was prompt and effective.

The Police team who took part in the confrontation received awards from him.

The DGP urged everyone to “work in a similar manner and deny any opportunity to Pakistan-backed terror groups in the area.”

Reasi district, he said, was a crucial location since it was related to Kashmir as well as the border area of Rajouri.

As a result, all the troops should continue to cooperate in order to thwart any efforts to cross across from one area to another, according to Singh.

He gave the cops strict instructions to be on the lookout for anti-national elements and their followers at all times.

The DGP ordered that harsh measures be taken against anybody proven to be supporting terrorism in any way.

In addition to the elements trying to resurrect the terror structure from over the border, he ordered all the cops to keep an eye on the actions of all suspicions.

In addition to collecting substantial consignments of weapons, explosives, and drugs, Singh said that with the assistance of the local populace, security personnel thwarted many infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch-Rajouri belt of the Pir Panchal area.

He said that the J&K Police were completely awake and collaborating with other security forces to stop terrorism in J&K.

“The border security grid is much stronger than ever to scuttle any attempt of Pakistan to push terrorists and smuggle arms and narcotics,” the DGP said.

He gave the order to create joint area dominance plans for the Reasi district with the help of Village Defence Groups (VDGs) for human intelligence gathering and surveillance.

Singh emphasised the need for jurisdictional officials to punish severely anybody proven to be participating in the narco-trade.

Additionally, he talked with the commanders and Army members of the 33 RR stationed in Chasana and received a briefing on the operational details of the region.

Mukesh Singh, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu, accompanied the DGP.

The DGP was welcomed at Chasana by the DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, M Suleman Choudhary, SSP Reasi Amit Gupta, and other jurisdictional authorities.
