Srinagar, September 24: On Sunday, the Valley continued to experience protracted dry weather, although the ski resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir saw its first snowfall of the season.
According to a meteorological department source quoted by news agency GNS, Gulmarg’s higher elevations saw the first snowfall of the season. According to the official, the famed report’s temperature dropped to 15°C after the snowfall, which was 3°C colder than yesterday.

While all was going on, Srinagar reported a high temperature of 25.7°C, 0.6°C below average for the J&K summer capital.
The official noted that the 32.2°C high in Jammu was 0.3°C below average for the winter in J&K.
