He emphasised that only through having open talks could the issue’s effects and the steps that must be taken to solve them be clearly understood.

He urged members of the public to speak out and provide their views or lodge complaints about any corruption they may have seen.

He also reassured the populace that corrupt individuals would not go unpunished and that the law will be applied equally to all people, regardless of their status or position.

The Chief Secretary also sought information on the public’s preferences for online and offline service delivery methods, as well as the accessibility of government services in that format.

He urged them to use modern, user-friendly technologies so they wouldn’t have to leave their homes to access these services, allowing them to do duties while relaxing in their own homes.

During the conversation, the Chief Secretary encouraged the participants to accept advice from the younger generation and arm themselves with IT tools so they may exercise their rights from any location on Earth.

The Chief Secretary provided information to the public about the numerous IT tools that the government makes available for following government programmes and programmes or for applying for various services.

Additionally, he discussed the advantages of the 108 Ambulance Service, the Janbhagadari Portal, e-Unnat, Mobile Dost, Scan & Share (OPD Registration), and other services. He also urged them to be aware of their rights in order to prevent being taken advantage of by anybody.

The Chief Secretary listened to the public’s complaints during this session and then gave instructions on how to resolve them right away.

In order to guarantee that each of these concerns is addressed on its merits within the same week, he even demanded reports on each of them.

He encouraged them all to step up and work with the government to make J&K genuinely “BrashtacharMukt” in the truest sense.
