J&K's Apni Party wants to bring about lasting peace and prosperity, according to Altaf Bukhari

Aug. 9 (Srinagar): Today, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, president of the Apni Party, said that his party’s principal goal is to achieve permanent peace, prosperity, and development in Jammu and Kashmir by providing economic and political empowerment to its people.

A news statement claims he spoke at the event on behalf of the party. Bukhari invited certain political activists from the Uri region of north Kashmir to join the Apni Party. The National Conference’s Javid Ahmad Bhat and Waseem Akram, the Peoples Conference’s Ghulam Rasool Naiko (formerly a block president), and Abdul Qayoom Khan are among the newcomers. Today, during a ceremony held at the party’s headquarters in Srinagar, they officially joined the party.

After Bukhari invited him to join the Apni Party, he added, “I wholeheartedly welcome you to Apni Party, and I hope your presence will further strengthen the party cadre in the Uri constituency.”

He elaborated, saying, “Our primary goal is to advance peace, prosperity, and development in Jammu and Kashmir by fostering the economic and political independence of its people.” Together, we can move more quickly towards our goal of bringing unprecedented wealth to this area.

Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari wasn’t the only notable party leader there, however.
