Srinagar, September 26: Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Additional General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, said on Tuesday that attempts are being made to put Jammu’s lithium deposits up for sale after water, coal mining, and mineral resources were leased to outsiders.

Dr. Kamal reportedly made this statement while speaking with party officials and leaders at the Nawa e Subah headquarters in Srinagar. “The supremacy of democracy and the constitution can only sustain the integrity and freedom of the nation, but unfortunately, J&K continues to be ruled by bureaucratic Raj,” he remarked. J&K has been abandoned to the whims of an undemocratic system, and the road to democracy restoration seems to be lengthy. The emotions, sentiments, and ambitions of the people of Jammu and Kashmir are unimportant to the central government.

Dr. Kamal expressed worry about the rise in the populace’s issues and challenges, saying that the government has long neglected public welfare. Our leaders are merely rushing about on empty promises, leaving the people at the whim of the world. The challenges facing our people have increased as a result of the administration’s lopsided and capricious policies, he said.
