Ganderbal, September 21: The newly built two story block conference hall at Block Office Kangan was officially opened today by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir.
The conference hall, a cutting-edge facility that will be furnished with contemporary facilities to accommodate numerous conferences, seminars, workshops, and other events, represents a significant turning point in the development of Kangan’s infrastructure.
The DC thanked all the PRI members present at the inauguration ceremony, including the DDCs, BDCs, and Sarpanchs of Block Kangan, who contributed funds for the building of this asset. This is the first project since the three-tier Panchayat Raj system was implemented in J&K that the PRI members have jointly funded. It is anticipated that this cutting-edge building will act as a hub for decision-making among government officials, local leaders, and other stakeholders.
