Kupwara District Commissioner Evaluates AB-PMJAY and J&K Sehat Scheme

Ayushi Sudan, DC of Kupwara, called today’s meeting to discuss the district’s success in enrolling people for the Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY and the Jammu and Kashmir Sehat Scheme (Golden Card) for healthcare.

It was reported during the meeting that out of a total of 10 medical blocks in the Kupwara district, 59,6342 beneficiaries, or 92.85% of the target population, had been registered in the PMJAY and JK-Sehat programmes.

So that as many people as possible might benefit from the PMJAY Sehat Scheme, the DC has ordered all officials to work together with great devotion and cooperation on the ground.

She requested that Lumberdars and Chowkidars be enlisted by ACR Kupwara to help with the enrolment of the scheme’s outstanding beneficiaries.

The CSC District Manager was told to make sure the goal of 100% was met within a week.

The DC has also given strict instructions to the relevant officers to finish the line-listing of recipients by tomorrow.

Attendees included the District Manager-CSC, Block Medical Officers, Chief Medical Officer, and Assistant Commissioner of Revenue.

Out of 78039 registered cases, 51819 were sanctioned, while 15928 were refused, as reported at a meeting where the DC reviewed progress made under the Integrated Social Security Scheme (ISSS) in the district.

The DC at the time issued orders to the appropriate officers to make sure the goals were met in plenty of time.

The conference was attended by ACR, DSWO, and TSWOs, among others.
