October 14th, Kupwara In order to assess the preparations for the district’s Swachhta 3.0 initiative, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, called today’s meeting of all district and sectoral authorities.

The DC made sure the cops understood that cleanliness shouldn’t only be a matter for formal events; it should also have a real-world effect. She directed the officials to maintain the cleanliness of their individual workplaces and to regularly share with the AC Panchayats photos of pre- and post-cleanliness efforts.

The district officers were instructed to start a procedure for removing unneeded physical files and closing electronic files, as well as to perform inspections of the suboffices of their respective departments to assess the state of cleanliness. The DC advised that obsolete documents and machinery should be disposed of in accordance with government circular instructions.


During the discussion, it was decided that each department should choose a nodal official to serve as the point of contact for ACP Kupwara in order to coordinate any Swachhta 3.0 initiatives that would be carried out.

She made a strong impression on all the officers, urging them to start the transition to e-office as soon as possible and to give priority to the quality resolution of outstanding complaints.

She requested from the BDOs that they regularly monitor Swachta operations within their respective spheres of responsibility. In order to provide a healthy and clean atmosphere in rural regions, they were also ordered to educate the populace about proper manners.
