LG Sinha commends ISRO for the accomplishment of the Chandrayaan 3 moon mission

India is now the first nation to land on the south pole of the moon and the fourth nation overall to do it.

On 23 August, the Lieutenant Governor of Srinagar, Manoj Sinha, expressed his congratulations to the ISRO and the whole field of space scientists for the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the moon.

India has now made history by landing a spacecraft on the south pole of the moon, making it the first nation to do so.

The Lieutenant Governor tweeted: “India is on the moon! Congratulations to the team at ISRO on the success of the #Chandrayaan3 moon mission. An absolutely significant accomplishment and turning point for India’s space programmes.
