Lightning kills 40 sheep and goats in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir

Sept. 20, Jammu: Officials in J&K’s Ramban area reported on Wednesday that at least 40 sheep and goats had been killed by lightning.

Lightning hit the top of the meadow at Hinjhal in the Ramban area on Tuesday night, according to official reports.

After receiving the report, police and a team of officials from the department of sheep husbandry raced to the scene.

It has been established that 40 sheep and goats were killed by the lightning, according to the authorities.

Nonetheless, the livestock owner has reported losing around 80 sheep and goats.
