Mehbooba asks EAM for assistance in returning the corpse of a Kashmiri man who was slain in Saudi Arabia

Srinagar, September 28: Ex-chief minister Mehbooba Mufti has asked S. Jaishankar, India’s minister for external affairs, to help bring home the corpse of a young man from Srinagar who was killed in a traffic accident in Saudi Arabia.

The former CM shared the news that Adil Shaban, a resident of Rainawari, had been killed in a car accident in Saudi Arabia on X (formerly Twitter). His mourning family is making frantic efforts to get his remains so he may be laid to rest. We respectfully ask that @DrSJaishankar ji and @MEAIndia facilitate our return home.

It was reported that Adil had lately relocated to Saudi Arabia in quest of employment.
