Meri Maati Mera Desh | DSW lecture, plantation drive at CUK’s Department of Politics

Ganderbal, Aug 14: On Monday, the Department of Politics and Governance, in collaboration with the Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW), hosted a lecture on the “Jan Bhagidari movement” by Prof. Gul Mohammad Wani from the University of Kashmir, as well as a plantation drive at the Tulmulla campus.

Prof. Wani addressed the participants, emphasising the relevance of people’s participation in democracy for social transformation, as well as the value of participatory democracy and the need for discussion between different stakeholders.
