Srinagar, Oct, 12 : On Wednesday, meteorologists predicted that the upper parts of Jammu and Kashmir would get widespread, intermittent precipitation ranging from light to moderate intensity between October 14 and 18.
An official from the local meteorological department told GNS that the weather in the next 24 hours is likely to be mostly clear and that the weather on October 13 is predicted to be “partly cloudy becoming cloudy” towards the evening. “There is a possibility of rain or snow over higher reaches towards night at scattered places in J&K.”
From the 14th to the 18th of October, he predicted that there would be a greater than 75% likelihood of widespread intermittent light to moderate snowfall and rain over higher ranges.

Additionally, the weather department has strongly suggested that farmers delay harvesting their crops between October 14 and October 18.
