Minor child killed by fire, Karnah home destroyed

A physically disabled girl was burned to death, and a private home was torched in Badherkote, Karnah, in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on October 19.

An official informed the Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a Bhaderkote residential property caught fire, destroying it.

He also reported that a 7-year-old daughter was burned to death.

“The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained,” he added.
