Srinagar, Nov. 27: Mirwaiz Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has conveyed his sorrow for the partial loss resulting from the fire at the Bazar Masjid in the Bohri Kadal district of Shahr-e-Khaas. He has also expressed his sincere sympathies and support for the local intizaamia about the regrettable occurrence.

A delegation from the organization went to Bohri Kadal at the request of Mirwaiz in order to gather information about the event and to voice their concerns to the mosque management.

In a statement to KNS, AAC said it was saddened by the passing of prominent Abi Guzar social and political activist Muhammad Ibrahim Qureshi. Qureshi is the uncle of Advocate Yasir Ahmad Dalal, a current member of the organization, and the brother-in-law of the late Rauf Ahmad Dalal, one of the organization’s leaders.

It prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to be granted to the departed soul and conveyed condolences and solidarity with the families of the Dalals and Qureshi.

The organization also conveyed its sadness and anguish at the passing of Gandrapura Safakdal resident Muhammad Yasin Naqash, a supporter of the Mirwaiz family and a member of the Awami Action Committee.

In addition to wishing the bereaved soul Jannat-ul-Firdous, the AAC sent its sympathies and support to the deceased’s sons, Farooq Ahmad and Merajuddin Naqash, during this difficult time.

A delegation from the organization visited Abi Guzar and Safakadal at the request of Mirwaiz, delivering a sympathy message to the relatives of the deceased. The members of the delegation prayed for the patience of the bereaved families as well as the high status in Jannah for the departed souls.
