Jammu, 28 July: The government on Friday ordered the transfer of Gulmarg Ghulam Jeelani Zargar, the CEO of the Tourism Development Authority (TDA), and posted him as the CEO of the Tourism Development Authority, Lolab-Bungus-Drangyari, with immediate effect.
Raja Yaqoob Farooq, the director of tourism in Kashmir, has also been given the additional responsibilities of managing the J&K Cable Car Corporation and serving as the managing director of the Gulmarg Tourism Development Authority.
An order stated: “In the interest of administration, Ghulam Nabi Bhat, JKAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, holding additional charge of the post of Additional Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Lolab-Bungus-Drangyari, with immediate effect.”
In addition, until further instructions, Raja Yaqoob Farooq, IRS-IT: 2014, Director of Tourism for Kashmir, “shall hold the charge of the posts of Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg and Managing Director, J&K Cable Car Corporation.”
