Cloudy skies with isolated showers are forecast for today throughout most of Kashmir and Jammu.

Amarnath Cave and other areas of Kashmir were pounded by rain on Sunday in Srinagar, and additional precipitation is expected in the valley and Jammu today, according to the weather service.

According to a MeT representative, rain is falling in Srinagar, Bandipore, Ganderbal, Pahalgam-Holy Cave, and Banihal, while the remainder of the region is experiencing gloomy to cloudy conditions.

He predicted that the day will be gloomy across Kashmir and that there would be isolated showers in the Jammu area.

Scattered rain or thundershowers are possible in Jammu and Kashmir between the 17th and 20th, most likely in the morning, late afternoon, or evening.

On July 21 and 22, anticipate a mix of light and moderate rain and thunderstorms over the area.

As a whole, “there’s no forecast of any major rainfall until July 25,” he added.
