On July 22, light to moderate rain was forecast in a number of locations throughout Jammu & Kashmir.

The meteorological service in Srinagar issued a general cloudy forecast for the next 24 hours, with the probability of light to moderate rain in numerous locations in Poonch and Rajouri in addition to sporadic locations elsewhere in Jammu and Kashmir.

As stated by a meteorological department official, “Heavy rain is likely at some places of Poonch, Rajouri, and Reasi districts,” according to GNS.

On July 22, he claimed that scattered locations in Kashmir and numerous spots in Jammu could anticipate light to moderate rain and thundershowers.

According to the weather service, there is a chance of “flash flood and mudslides” today in sensitive areas of Poonch and Rajouri.

The authority recommended people to exercise caution and avoid streams, rivers, and other potentially dangerous areas.

He stated that the following locations had rainfall in the last 24 hours: Srinagar 0.1mm, Qazigund traces, Pahalgam 5.3mm, Kupwara 2.7mm, Gulmarg 2mm, Jammu 0.2mm, Bhaderwah 33.4mm, and Batote 1.6mm.He stated that the lowest temperatures today were 21.7°C in Srinagar, 19.8°C in Qazigund, 16.0°C in Pahalgam, 16.2°C in Kupwara, 19.3°C in Kokernag, 14.3°C in Gulmarg, 27.0°C in Jammu, 20.6°C in Banihal, 20.4°C in Batote, 23.2°C in Katra, and 18.6°C in Bhaderwah.
