NEET UG 2024 Counselling Dates: The Medical Counselling Committee (has) has announced NEET UG 2024 counselling dates on its official website at mcc.nic.in. Candidates who meet the specified eligibility criteria will be able to register and apply for seat allotment across various medical colleges in the country. According to the schedule, the counselling registration process will begin on August 14 and run until August 16, 2024.
Candidates will be able to exercise their choice-fliing and locking options from August 16 to August 20, 2024. The allotment results are expected to be released on August 23, 2024.
The MCC NEET UG Counselling will provide candidates with the opportunity to secure seats under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) in three rounds and a stray vacancy round conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee.
NEET UG 2024 state-wise seat matrix (expected)
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare publishes the state-wise list of MBBS seats available across over 600 medical colleges in the country. Currently, the NEET UG 2024 Seat Matrix is still awaited.Previously, the MCC had instructed institutions to release the seat matrix for NEET UG 2024 counselling on their official website, with a deadline set for July 20, 2024.
According to various media reports, data from the Ministry of Health indicates that Tamil Nadu leads in the number of MBBS seats in government medical institutions with 5,275 seats, followed by Maharashtra with 5,125 seats. Overall, it is estimated that a total of 108,940 MBBS seats are available.
