During these searches, several Over Ground Workers (OGWs) had their homes searched.

According to official sources, four separate SIA teams conducted the searches on Thursday afternoon, two in the Rajouri district and two in the Poonch district.

They reported two raids in Rajouri, one in the hamlet of Gambhir Mughlan and another in the nearby village of Bagla.

According to Manjakote authorities, an OGW’s home in the hamlet of Gambhir Mughlan was the target of a recent SIA raid.

They said that the whole home had been searched during this operation, and that a piece of electrical equipment had also been taken.

The homes of two actual brothers, one of whom is an OGW, were reportedly searched in a hamlet near the Line of Control during a second operation in Rajouri district, according to officials.

According to reports, two locations in the Mendhar sub division of the Poonch district were also attacked.

A hamlet in Gursai and the town of Hamirpur Balakote were reportedly the targets of the attacks.

They said that the searches conducted during the raids turned up some evidence of wrongdoing.

The authorities said that the raids were part of an investigation into border escorts who help in infiltration over the LoC.

“These raids were conducted in cooperation with local police and administration,” the authorities said.
