Srinagar, August 23: Hours after he claimed his death on X, former teammate Henry Olonga stated that Zimbabwean cricketer Heath Streak is still alive. Olonga sent a conversation between two cricket players.
The reports of Heath Streak’s death were grossly overblown, I can assure you of that. He finally got back to me. His return was requested by the third base umpire. According to Olonga’s last update, he is still very much alive.Earlier, he said, “Sad news coming through that Heath Streak has passed the other side. The great @ZimCrickettv has passed away. The best player in every way that we made. It was fun to hang out with you and play games. When my bowling stint is through, I’ll see you on the other side…Streak has cancer and is now receiving treatment.
