“The cutting-edge Petrochemical Complex at Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s Bina Refinery will be built at a cost of about Rs 49,000 crore and produce about 1200 KTPA (Kilo-Tonnes Per Annum) of ethylene and propylene, which are essential components for many industries, including textiles, packaging, and pharma, among others.

“This would lessen the nation’s reliance on imports and move the nation closer to realising the Prime Minister’s goal of an independent India, or ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’. According to the statement, the mega project would also foster the growth of downstream sectors in the petroleum industry and provide job possibilities.
