Speaking with members of the media, the Lieutenant Governor expressed optimism that filming will soon resume in the valley.

The Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir predicted that the film industry will be a significant contributor to the state’s economic development and the creation of new jobs. According to him, the new film policy was implemented by the UT administration after extensive consultation with all relevant parties, and since then, J&K has become a popular location for filming.

Over the course of the next five months, local talent from the UT will be featured prominently in the TV programme “Pashmina,” which will be shot extensively in various locales throughout Jammu Kashmir.

Members of the cast and crew, as well as the show’s creators and producers, Siddharth and Sapna Malhotra of Alchemy Films Private Limited, were present.
