praises J&K residents for ensuring the success of the “Meri Matti Mera Desh” campaign


Oct. 13, Jammu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given sufficient funding, a planned approach, and a detailed roadmap to make J&K one of the finest UTs in the nation, and work in this direction is moving forward at a brisk pace.

After kicking off development activities in the Jawahar Nagar, Ward No. 7 region of Jammu Cantonment today, senior BJP leader and former deputy CM Kavinder Gupta made this statement. An estimated 16 lakh rupees would be spent to finish the development work.

The former Deputy Chief Minister was accompanied by Rekha Mahajan District President, Vinay Gupta Senior Leader, Narinder Koki, Pushpinder Charak, Bharat Bhushan Mandal President, Rahul Kumar Corporator, Indu Bhushan, Rachit Khosla, Satvir Singh, Sandeep Gupta, Ritesh Kumar, Varun Sharma, Abhinadan Sharma, Vinod Kumar, Suraj Rana, and Jasmeet Pandey.

Speaking especially about Jammu, Kavinder made it apparent that the government’s emphasis on making Temple City a smart city has in fact brought about numerous exciting improvements that the people can perceive for themselves by just taking a step outside their houses.

The steadfast BJP leader claimed that numerous development projects are currently underway in Jammu City, and the time will soon come when this city’s name will be listed among the best cities in the nation for offering its residents all of the amenities that developed cities around the world provide. He said that, in light of all of these initiatives, progress is now the norm in J&K and that the Modi administration’s commitment to the region’s welfare is the cause of this shift.

The former deputy chief minister said that the BJP government at the national level is depending on a multifaceted approach to update all citizen-centric services at once, and for this reason, several development projects are now under way in the area. He said that the J&K administration has implemented a quick and dependable programme to provide the greatest contemporary facilities to the populace without delay or obstacle.

Kavinder Gupta further took part in the Meri Matti Mera Desh event, which came to an end today at the Lakshmi Narayan Mandir in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.

He emphasised that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s direction, this initiative included collecting dirt from martyrs’ houses, environs, sculptures, and memorials at different places throughout the country, including Jammu and Kashmir. On “Kartavya Path” (formerly known as Rajpath), in front of Rashtrapati Bhawan, this soil will help create “Amrit Vatika.”

The top BJP official emphasised that the purpose of these campaigns, which are being carried out under the motto “Mitti Ko Naman, Veeron Ka Vandan,” is to commemorate India’s 77th year of independence. He said that the Kalash Yatras, which bring earth in 7,500 urns, including material gathered in Jammu and Kashmir, would eventually arrive in Delhi, the nation’s capital, to mix with the soil at “Amrit Vatika.”

In order to make the Meri Matti Mera Desh campaign effective in the Union Territory, Kavinder thanked the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
