20 September, Poonch: Today, at the Counselling Cell of the District Industries Centre Poonch, a special awareness event on the recently introduced PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samma n Yojana was arranged for specific recipients.
The purpose of the event was to educate all who attended on the new Scheme. The government of India completely supports the PM Vishwakarma initiative, which promotes and assists traditional craftsmen and craft workers.
The program’s ultimate goal is to better integrate them into the MSME value chains so that their goods may increase in quality, scale, and reach.
A bare-bones talk on how to identify all potential beneficiaries was held throughout the session. Participants were given a rundown on the procedure by Dr. Mohammad Tanwir, general manager of the District Industries Centre.
Everyone who took part was appreciative of the district’s efforts and wanted to thank the government and administration for what they’ve done for the vishwakarmas.
More such programmes are scheduled to be held at block levels in district Poonch for awareness and identification of all potential vishwakarmas.
