Officials in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, reported on Friday, August 4th, that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) was conducting searches in the area in relation to terror financing and linkages.
They said the searches were part of a wider probe into the financing of terrorism.

Jammu Kashmir Coalition of Civil Societies (JKCCS) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that has been accused of soliciting money for outlawed terrorist groups. The NIA has claimed to have undertaken extensive searches at seven sites in Srinagar, Budgam, Kupwara, and Pulwama districts.
