Ganderbal, September 27: Rayil Cricket Club (RCC) defeated Kullan Royal Strikers in the final of the Martyrs Police Premier League Twenty20 Cricket Tournament.
At Sheikh Ul Alam sports stadium Kangan on Wednesday, the final match of the Martyrs Police Premier League T-20 cricket competition was played as part of the district Police Ganderbal’s civic activity project.
RCC won the championship with a 5 wicket victory against KRS.
There was a sizable crowd present to see the championship game.
For his great performance throughout the event, Yasir Arfat was named Man of the Match and Man of the event.
The Grand Finale of the Martyrs Police Premier League T-20 Cricket Tournament featured SSP Ganderbal SNikhil Borkar as the prime guest. The SDPO Kangan.
Around 40 Cricket Teams from the District wanted to play in the competition, but only 16 were chosen in a Lucky Draw Series.
All of the nominated teams had nothing but praise for the Ganderbal Police Department for putting on such a fantastic tournament.
SSP Ganderbal thanked all the teams for competing in the sporting competitions hosted by District Police Ganderbal.
He also emphasised the importance of young athletes in the District letting their brains and imaginations run wild when playing sports. In addition, he urged the team members to play with sportsmanship, discipline, and respect for one another.
